Commercial EPC'S
As part of The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), commercial buildings require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).- From 1st of July 2008 all buildings larger than 10,000m2 will require an EPC on sale, construction or rental.
- From 1st of October 2008 an EPC will be required on all commercial properties on sale, construction or rental.
The EPC assessment will be carried out by one of our trained Commercial Energy Assessors who have experience within the energy industry and will be able to advise on any aspects of the EPC and any recommendations made in the report.
The EPC is created using cutting edge technology (SBEM) and lodged with a government approved accreditation body. The EPC is a measure of a buildings energy performance drawn from many different features in the building such as the heating and lighting systems.
